College: College of Pharmacy Department: Pharmacy Credit Hours: 4 Students will gain exposure to veterinary pharmacy practice, as well as achieve an understanding of the physiology and pathophysiology of animals. Students will also see services available to both large and small animals in the areas of internal medicine and surgery. Students will be shown the types of pharmacist services that can be provided to a veterinary facility, and be exposed to unique pharmaceutical compounds and dosage forms used in animals.
