The general principles of pharmacology including the actions, mechanisms of actions, absorption, rate, excretions, toxicity, and the diagnostic and therapeutic uses of both systemic and ocular drugs will be discussed. Also included are the pharmaceutical treatments for HIV and AIDS. The systemic effects of ocularly administered drugs and the ocular effects of systemically administered drugs are included.
