Provide students an opportunity to become conversant with the terminology and theory, and practical applications of both conventional and ICC compliant approaches to managing color in printing, publishing and alternative digital media. The importance of achieving consistent tone reproduction and gray balance is emphasized as well as the essentials of color measurement and process control. Students are introduced to ICC color management, including laboratory creation, testing, and application of ICC compliant profiles. Pre- Requisites: Senior Status. Typically Offered Spring Only
