College: College of Allied Health Department: School of Nursing Credit Hours: 2 This course is designed to assist graduate nursing students in the design and preparation of their practicum experiences that will occur in NURS 740. In this course, the student will design an individualized practicum to prepare for advanced specialty role practice. The student will develop a proposal to synthesize and apply advanced specialty role knowledge from practice, theory and research, within a practice setting chosen by the student related to the specialty field of study. Pre- Requisites: NURS 500, NURS 510, NURS 520, NURS 530 and NURS 620; all cognate courses. Typically Offered Fall, Spring, Summer
