College: College of Allied Health Department: Clinical Lab- Resp Care-Hlth Ad Credit Hours: 7 The student will be assigned to a health care facility for a seven week internship where they will gain real-world experience in applying procedures previously taught in the classroom. Students will gain experience analyzing the patient's chart to assure that ordered test reports are placed on the patient's chart, assuring that the record is complete and available to doctors and nurses, and assisting the nurses and doctors by completing other clerical function. Pre-Requisites: Department permission. Typically Offered Fall, Spring, Summer
