This course covers basic concepts of statistics and probability appropriate for K- 12 school teachers. Topics include methods of organizing, displaying, analyzing, and interpreting data; methods of collecting data and making predictions and inferences based on data; and the theory of probability and probability distributions. Graphing calculators and computers will be used throughout the course to reinforce major course ideas. Prerequisites: MATH 130 and Math 119 or Math 219 with a grade of Cor better. Typically Offered Spring Only, Odd Years.
