A terminal course in mathematics satisfying the General Education quantitative skills requirement. Exposes students to a wide variety of mathematical concepts and their applications. Topics include algebraic applications, geometry, statistics, probability and mathematics of finance. Note: Math 117 cannot be used as a prerequisite for courses requiring Math 115 as a prerequisite. Should a student change his or her academic program to one that requires Math 115 as a prerequisite for subsequent courses the student will be required to complete Math 115.
