College: College of Technology Department: Mechanical Design Credit Hours: 1 This course has a lab with 2 hours. This laboratory course supports MECH 340 Statics and Strength of Materials. The student will perform hands-on experiments and demonstrations that explore the concepts covered in MECH 340 lectures. Measurement of physical phenomena, resolution of practical design problems, and exploration of computer resources will be included. Prerequisite: MATH 116 and MATH 120 or MATH 115 or 24 on the ACT or 560 on the SAT. Co-Requisites: MECH 340. Typically Offered Fall Only
