Read and analyze cultural expressions (art, literature, film, music, cartoons), as well as understand how creative mediums serve as powerful tools that shape Americans' attitudes about themselves and others. How creative expressions such as films, posters, and cartoons have been used by our government as political propaganda and how many creative expressions--novels, films, and advertising--have created modern myths about American experiences.
