Gender and Race in Film will provide a study of the social construction of gender and race through the study of women and race in film. An understanding of film, gender, and race will be developed through analysis of film and culture based on viewing films, reading critical articles and discussing ideas relevant to the understanding of film and the understanding of gender and race.
