This course is designed to give students the opportunity to review a variety of assessment tools used in identifying students with special needs and assessing progress of individual students. Discussion includes standardized tests, curriculum-based assessments, portfolio assessments, teacher made tests, and norm referenced tests. Students will have an opportunity to practice administration and interpretation of assessments and linking results to the curriculum and students individual education plan.
