Overview of the broad topics within the industrial hygiene and waste management fields. Students will have the opportunity to apply classroom information to real-world industrial situations during the laboratory component of the course. Field trips to local industrial locations, controlled industrial hygiene sampling activities, environmental sampling and other field activities will provide students with practical experience with a variety of industrial hygiene and hazardous materials equipment.
