Affords students the opportunity to analyze vocational educational foundations knowledge and to apply it to a critical study of current educational practices and policies. Topics studied will include the following: philosophy and history of career technical education, practices and programs in career technical education, demographics of vocational students, labor market data, the future of career technical education, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to cooperative education and administration of cooperative education programs. Note: Not open to students with an undergraduate vocational foundations course without advisor permission. Requires: Graduate status Typically Offered Fall, Spring, Summer
