This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn the basics skills of care giving and the provision of a safe environment for older adults. Students will be introduced to a variety of skills to include older adult health assessment, planning, treatment, and multidisciplinary care services delivery to address medical, physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of patient care. Prerequisites: CCHS 101 or ENGL 250 or Permission of Instructor. Typically offered Fall only.
