This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore normal and abnormal health and physical changes, the ability to adapt, and the effects of these changes on maintaining functional independence and a quality of life in older adults. Individual body system changes will be reviewed, emphasizing how these changes relate to the slow or accelerated development of disorders in later life. Prerequisites: CCHS 101 or ENGL 250 or Permission of Instructor. Typically Offered Fall only.
