A study of human structure and function and its clinical application. Case studies are used to promote the application of knowledge to predict symptoms of organ dysfunction and the rationale for treatment. Topics covered include cell physiology, tissues, inflammation and tissue repair, nerve and muscle physiology, and the cardiovascular and digestive systems.
