This course will provide students with the opportunity to develop a basic understanding of the dynamics of an aging population to include the phenomenon of aging of baby boomers, current issues and public policies as they relate to aging. The implications of these population changes, current aging research, and government policy on the general population will be addressed throughout the course. Prerequisites: CCHS 103 or ENGL 250 or Permission of Instructor. Typically Offered Fall Only.
