Health, healing and learning how their bodies work are issues of concern to women worldwide. In this class students will take a crosscultural approach to understanding how pregnancy and reproduction are socially and culturally constructed and constrained. Students will experience a radically new way of considering and representing the body. Students will also examine reproductive rights concerns, birth control, and the relation of sexually transmitted diseases to fertility and women's perceptions of their bodies.
