Seismometry. Interpretation of seismograms. Determination of Earth structure. Reflection seismology. Seismic sources. Strong motion seismology and earthquake hazard. Earthquake statistics. Seismotectonics. 3 hours of lecture + 3 hours lab. Prerequisite: MAT 115 or consent of the instructor.
