Fundamentals of oneand twodimensional NMR and basic understanding of the pulse sequences for a variety of NMR experiments (proton, C13, SPT, INEPT, DEPT, COSY, HETCOR and NOE). Interpretation of such spectra to determine organic structures. Experience on FTNMR instrument in weekly sessions to be arranged with instructor. Prerequisites: CHM 316, 319L and CHM 305 or 313.
