Explores spatial, cultural and economic factors associated with major problems and examines policies and programs used to address urban change in a development context. Study of alternative approaches for achieving developmental aims. 4 lecture/ discussions. Prerequisites: graduate standing or one GE course from each of the following Subareas: A1, A2, A3, and D1, D2, D3. This course fulfills GE Subarea D4, Social Science.
