Phase diagrams and their relevance to the structure, processing and properties of metallic alloys. Mechanical behavior of polymers, ceramics and composites and their applications in engineering practice. Corrosion and degradation of materials. 4 lectures/problem solving. Prerequisites: CHM 122 and C - or better in ME 218.
