Lubrication of machine elements, gaskets, seals, "o" rings, and fasteners. Design techniques and the design of a simple machine. 3 lectures/problemsolving and 1 threehour laboratory. Prerequisites: MFE 201/L, C - or better in ME 215, and ME 319.
