3 Semester Hours. (Also listed as PS 499.) A course that all students majoring in the Behavioral Science department must take during their last semester prior to graduation. It will emphasize thinking, writing, and speaking effectively. Therefore, areas in which students are deficient will be emphasized individually, through writing and speaking engagements during the course. Students will be taught critical thinking skills and will be intermittently assessed for such skills through objective examinations. Also, students will be assessed upon completion of the course for improvement in critical areas.
