4 Semester Hours. (Lab fee.) Prerequisite: Introductory digital electronics. During the course, the tools of digital design will be developed, and then these tools will be used to investigate problems in digital design with computers and large-scale solutions to digital problems. The course will also cover the use of devices, such as programmable logic devices (PLD's), in digital problems and design.
