The course will familiarize the student with the entire software life cycle, spanning from the time of conception of the actual requirements, through the analysis, design, and development of the software. The course will study various methodologies of software engineering; i.e., the analysis and comparison of methods which use sound engineering principles to develop software that is reliable, cost-effective, and easily maintainable.
