Prerequisites: Senior standing as a General Science major at Athens State University or consent of the instructor(s). This course is designed to introduce General Science students to current topics and issues in the sciences and to give students the opportunity to strengthen and improve their written and oral presentation skills. Students will be required to create materials and give presentations on current topics in science during the semester. Each student's presentations and the associated materials will be evaluated by other students in the class and by faculty members from the Department of Natural Sciences.
