3 credit hours This course is designed to survey topics in discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and abstract algebra. The following topics will be addressed: matrix algebra (Gauss reduction process, inverses, determinants), simple linear programming, symbolic logic, set theory, combinations, numbers to other bases, and number theory. Prereq: 12 hours of Mathematics (excluding Math 110 and 202). (Spring even years)
