3 credit hours This course is designed to acquaint prospective secondary education teachers (8-12) with materials, methods, and strategies for teaching and planning the secondary curriculum. In addition to a study of the principles and techniques of teaching and classroom management, students are expected to select, develop, and demonstrate appropriate materials and strategies for teaching his or her specialty. Fieldwork and clinical experiences totaling 20 hours are required. Prereq: Educ 200, 250, 309; admission to TEP. (Fall)
