Topics studied include the philosophy of education, the structure of education, the financing of education, socio-economic issues of education, the roles of contemporary teachers and the current status of education reform including the implications of KERA upon public education in Kentucky. A fieldwork practicum of 10 hours is required. (Fall and Spring)
