Topics of study include a survey of the plant kingdom, representative life cycles, and taxonomy; energy transformations and photosynthesis; structure and function with emphasis on the vascular plants; economic and ecologic important of plants. Three lecture hours and two-and-ahalf ( 21/ 2) laboratory hours. Prereq: Biol. 111 or permission of instructor. (Spring)
