Examines the arguments of classic and contemporary American pragmatists including Peirce, James, Dewey, Royce, Santayanna, Rorty, Addams, McKenna, and McDermott. Topics include the pragmatic method, fallibilism, pluralism, radical empiricism, and meliorism.
