Credit 4 These four-week clerkships provide students with the opportunity to serve as a sub-intern on a general pediatrics service of an approved teaching hospital. Students are generally responsible for approximately half the patient load of an intern. Students are exposed to the inpatient management of diverse pediatric diseases to facilitate the transition between the role of student clerk and intern.
