Credit 4 These four-week clerkships provide students with an opportunity to gain experience in the evaluation and management of patients with common pulmonarydiseases. Students will develop skills in performing and interpreting arterial blood gas and pulmonary function testing, and may participate in such procedures as Swan-Ganz catheterization, chest tube insertion, central line insertion and endotracheal intubation.
