(Perspectives I course) This is the first semester of a one-year course appropriate for liberal arts students. The course is designed to provide the student with an appreciation of the role of Physics in life as well as understanding the laws of natures. An objective of this course is the development of problem solving skills. Topics include: kinematics, Newton's laws, statics, work and energy, power, momentum, and vibrations.
