A supervised placement in a political setting providing on-the-job experience appropriate to the student's knowledge, skills and interest. Besides local placements, students who qualify have an opportunity to spend a semester in Albany serving as session assistants in the New York State Senate or Assembly or to intern at a selected site in Washington, D.C. through the Institute for Experiential Learning.
