An exploration of various aspects of the music teaching profession with an emphasis placed on practical approaches to teaching both in the classroom and rehearsal settings. Topics include becoming a music teacher, developing tools for teaching, implementing the National Standards into instruction, teaching music in early childhood, reaching diverse learners, and developing a philosophy of music education.
