Bioinformatics is the use of information technology to advance the scientific understanding of living systems. Bioinformatic technologies are used to analyze sequences, structure, and map information about genes and proteins. Topics covered include gene sequence comparison for mutation and evolution analysis, molecular modeling and clinical applications.
