3 credits This course introduces students to poetry-its origins, its forms, its artistic process, its elements, and its authors. Students will also reflect on their experiences of poetry then move to an experiential exploration of the elements and forms of poetry with exercises aimed at evoking the poet and poetry-lover within each student.
