3 credits This course will work on the three different language skills - speaking, reading, and writing. We will read and write about texts, newspapers, cultural topics, and films while improving oral communication skills in Spanish. Conversational skills will be improved through class discussions on topics of cultural, academic, and professional interest. Relevant grammar points will be reviewed and combined with written practice to improve overall fluency. Prerequisites: CLANG 1101, CLANG 1102, or permission of the instructor. (A placement test will be given the first class to evaluate the student's level and to determine the correct course placement.)
