3 credits This course is designed for students who are interested in majoring in the liberal arts or who are undecided about their major. It offers A first introduction to the career opportunities open to them in their various fields and helps them to develop the skills and behaviors that are crucial to developing A professional identity. Through common readings, speakers and panelists, and visits to different work environments students will explore the wide array of career paths and professional experiences open to liberal arts majors. The course will also provide an introduction to the professional expectations required in various work settings.
