3 Credits An in-depth study of several aspects of Spanish and Latin American literature and civilization. We will examine how attitudes, values and mores are manifested in Hispanic literature, history, language and civilization. Oral and written reports will examine linguistic, cultural and literary aspects of Hispanic society. We will pay careful attention to grammar and to developing stronger reading, listening and writing skills. Prerequisites: CLANG 2103, or permission of instructor. (A placement test will be given the first class to evaluate the student's level and to determine the correct course placement.)
