3 credits This course will focus on A critical evaluation of the philosophical foundations of expressive arts therapies. The aim is to engage the advanced graduate student in an exploration of the concepts and principles that underline contemporary authors and visionaries within the expressive therapies field with particular attention to variations in cultural perspectives and worldviews. Students will have the opportunity to integrate and apply their knowledge to current literature and to critically assess this literature. Note: C.A.G.S. or Ph.D. students only, or with permission of instructor.
