3-6 credits The city of Montreal is A laboratory for exploring the major cultural heritage of Quebec: First Nation, French, and European. The cultural connection between Quebec and New England will be explored. The institute provides opportunities for cross-cultural comparisons between Canada and the United States in areas such as bilingual education, issues of ethnic diversity, and political-economic systems. Students pursue individualized research and writing in areas of particular interest.
