1 credit Examination of selected major religions of the world (Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Animism, Shinto, and Zen) from an awareness that religion represents the most ancient fundamental and holistic human aspiration. Religion is at the source of every culture and must be understood in order to comprehend the larger culture. This course places particular emphasis on how each religion uniquely emerges from A culture and how it influences intercultural relations. Usually offered summer semester.
