3 credits Students will explore the arts as A tool to raise awareness about the relationship between the transmission of cultural knowledge and historical constructions of power and privilege in the context of educational leadership and school reform. Students will be near the completion of their thesis. This course is an opportunity to examine the issues they researched through the lens of critical pedagogy. Furthermore, after intense focus on their thesis subjects, students will be able to understand their work in the greater context of arts and social action.
