ThroughA sequence of restricted typographic exercises, students learn to structure informational hierarchies while working with the formal composition of type as point, line, and textural element. The principles learned from exercises are applied to progressively more complex problems, with emphasis on the process of experimentation. Prerequisites: IDESN 2220.
