1.5 credits Illustration is a dynamic and contemporary subject. This course approaches assignments representing newer, non-traditional markets. Students use their understanding of design thinking, visual research/ language, and cultural studies in their development of these projects. Students are required to confront stereotypical thinking and challenge the prescribed conventions of image. Markets may include packaging, game, fashion, maps, and product. Prerequisite: IILLU 2300.
