Students study typefaces in various contexts and then use digital tools to create A typeface for use in everyday communications. Technical standards of typeface design, the visual nuances of form, consistency, and spacing in A particular typeface, the interaction of type software with other applications, as well as the broader issues of the cultural context and history of western type design are introduced and addressed in This course.
