1 credit This is an introductory class in the use, design and construction of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). It prepares students for using HTML to design and troubleshoot web pages. The course covers vocabulary terms and computer functions common to HTML for the Mac. Through class exercises and homework assignments, students develop A working knowledge of HTML which gives them A solid foundation in the first language of the World Wide Web, and prepares them for more advanced classes. Students try different software applications that produce HTML and discuss their uses. Everyone produces A sample web site. Prerequisite: ICOMP 1900 or permission of instructor.
